Bobby Rymer, The Writer’s Den: Bobby Rymer is a hands on publisher with an incredible ear and vast knowledge of music from all genres. His publishing group, The Writer’s Den, integrates in all facets of the music business and encourages creativity in a fun, relaxed atmosphere while inspiring long lasting relationships. The philosophy of Writer’s Den Music Group stands clear; A commitment to focusing on every single song, creating a unique hands-on style experience for both the writers and publisher. Over the past two years, Writer’s Den Music Group has earned prominence with cuts featured in movies and hit TV shows.
Bobby has been an ASG supporter for the past five years, making 2-3 trips to Austin each year, including the annual Symposium, to hear ASG songwriter’s songs. Over the years, many ASG members have developed relationships with Bobby that affords them a professional publishing contact to pitch their songs to, while giving Bobby access to potential hit songs outside the traditional Music Row channels.
At his last ASG publisher weekend in 2011, he met ASG member songwriter Katie Trotta, got exicted about her music and agreed to work with her. Katie has now moved to Nashville and is actively working on her craft with Bobby’s guidance through The Writer’s Den. This year it could be you and your music that gets Bobby excited, but you have to be present to win.
That opportunity to be present occurs the last weekend of this month on Friday & Saturday, March 30-31 at the ASG offices. Bobby will be facilitating a publisher’s workshop on Saturday from 11:00 AM -1:30 PM. The cost of the workshop is only $35 (with current ASG Membership in effect).
PLEASE NOTE: You must register for the workshop to be eligible for a private appointment with Bobby.
Bobby will be seeing ASG songwriters in private appointments all day Friday, and also before and after the Saturday workshop. The private appointments are scheduled in time units of 30 minutes each at a cost of $50 per unit. You may schedule a second 30 minute appointment, also at a cost of $50.
Space is limited for both the workshop and also the private appointments.
